For the past 22 years, strategically growing the Dittoe PR team and promoting our members internally has been a top priority, which has enabled us to build the strongest and most effective team for our clients.
The second half of 2021 has brought forth some exciting promotions for our agency. These individuals show a dedication to their work and commitment to the success of clients and peers that has contributed to one of our agency’s biggest years of growth yet.
This will be a two-part blog post so we can tell you a little more about each of these incredible team members.
Ashley Shuler: Director of Accounts
Ashley is the definition of exceeding expectations, one of our core values as an organization. She is the ultimate team player, leading her teams in strategic planning and execution and ensuring the success of every account she touches. Ashley has been key in revamping Dittoe PR’s client tracking and reporting to help our clients make more informed business decisions. For some exciting skydiving clients, she has helped secure national media placements, including Good Morning America, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and CBS, promoting positive stories about the sport and these fringe professional athletes. Ashley spends her personal time browsing eBay for midcentury modern finds for her new home, playing fetch with her five-pound dog Gus (a heart-melter) and watching Golden Girls.
Kaitlyn Elpers: Senior Account Manager
Kaitlyn has been instrumental in generating media coverage that has helped position Indy as a top destination for visitors far and wide. From Geronimo Hospitality Group and The Bottleworks District to Newfields and its many incredible exhibits, Kaitlyn has secured local, regional and national media coverage that has people flooding to these hot spots in The Circle City. Her vast B2C experience includes national brands like Vita Coco and Haven Technologies. Some of Kaitlyn’s career highlights include securing a national broadcast interview for one of Vita Coco’s celebrity partners, launching a 200+ influencer event for the opening of THE LUME Indianapolis at Newfields, and having dinner with actor Adrien Grenier during a client meeting. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys photography, morning workouts with her new husband, reading print magazines, traveling and making TikToks.
Janet Haver: Account Executive
The first Tar Heel to ever join the Dittoe PR team hit the ground running and quickly excelled in the account coordinator role. In her new role, Janet will be a key driver of proactive execution, strategic ideation and content creation. Among her career highlights is securing national coverage in Parents for one of Vita Coco’s celebrity partners. When she’s not securing top-notch media placements for clients like Vita Coco, Jiffy Lube of Indiana, Merchants Capital and more, you can find her baking and perfecting her homemade cake recipe (she’s got the icing down). Like many of her Dittoe PR colleagues, she is a cat lover and adopted her fur baby, Emmy, from the Humane Society for Hamilton County earlier this year.
