Shelby comes to Dittoe PR from with a vast array of marketing and communications experience. From publication planning and writing, juggling multiple social media accounts, email marketing, and keeping her cool at large-scale events, there isn’t a challenge she isn’t willing to face head-on. Her passion for people paired with her strong individualism and writing has helped her create a portfolio of unique writing pieces.
Shelby graduated from IUPUI with a B.S. in journalism with a concentration in public relations in 2014. When she’s not writing content for her clients, you can find Shelby breaking up a fight between her puppy, River, and cat, Carl, moving plates around at restaurants for the perfect Instagram photo, and planning her permanent move to Hawaii.
Madisen joined the PR world in a roundabout way. An English literature major at Ball State, Madisen aspired to be an editor at a publishing company in New York City. While attending the University of Denver’s Publishing Institute in 2012, though, she discovered that in addition to the process of storytelling, she had a passion for marketing and social media. (And she didn’t really want to move to NYC.)
Cut to Indianapolis, 2013, and Madisen began flexing those marketing and social media muscles for an international nonprofit. In her four years there, she managed multiple online fundraisers, including two #GivingTuesday campaigns, developed four comprehensive annual reports, and obsessively analyzed social and website data to yield the best returns for the organization. Now, she uses these skills at Dittoe PR to bring the same exceptional results to her clients across multiple industries.
When she’s not diving into data or brainstorming a new story angle for her clients, she’s probably running (slowly), playing video games, or staying up way too late reading fantasy novels.
