Indianapolis Colts make it possible for all Indiana high school football coaches to be ‘Heads Up’ certified

Despite all the negative attention the NFL has been receiving lately, the Indianapolis Colts has managed to bring a lighter and more enjoyable tone to the sport of football. The Colts, who have been in partnership with USA Football, the national governing body of the sport for years, made a large donation that will allow all high school coaches in the state of Indiana to become certified through USA Football’s “Heads Up” safety program. The program teaches coaches the fundamentals of the sport, including key topics such as heat and hydration knowledge, equipment fitting, concussion recognition and awareness and more.
