Bothell Washington High School caddie earns full college scholarship
One of the nation’s largest privately funded scholarship initiatives, conducted by the Western Golf Association, just awarded full, four-year housing and college tuitions to ten Oregon caddies through its Chick Evans Scholarship. The Chick Evans Scholarship awards scholarships based on a strong caddie record, excellent academics, financial needs and outstanding character. There are currently 870 Evans Scholars at 18 universities across the U.S., and more than 200 from Oregon have graduated as Evans Scholars. John Marks of Bothell High School in Washington will attend the University of Washington in the fall thanks to this opportunity. Read about his exciting accomplishment in the Bothell Reporter.
