With 11 years of karate under her belt, Crouching Tigers founder teaches life skills to children through martial arts


After racking up 11 years of experience in martial arts, Olivia Roney Spahn wanted to do more with her acquired skills. While she was a student at IUPUI in 2007, she started Crouching Tigers, a mobile fitness and martial arts program for children. Her goal was to allow children from ages two to seven to get involved in a kid-friendly, parent approved, no contact martial arts program.
